Legiano

Last updated: 2026-05-22

Legiano is a private, offline mood journal that helps you reflect daily and track how you're feeling over time. This policy describes what Legiano does and does not do with your data. The short version: Legiano does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your device.

1Information we collect

None. Legiano does not ask you to create an account, does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other identifying information, and does not collect anything you write or log inside the app. We have no servers and no backend — there is nowhere for your data to go.

2Data stored on your device

To make the app work, Legiano stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:

  • Your journal entries: mood, notes, tags, and the date/time you wrote each one.
  • Your daily reflection history and any streaks the app tracks.
  • Your in-app preferences (theme choices, archive layout, threshold settings, and similar UI options).
  • A small local SQLite database (via sqflite) that holds the entries above, plus a key-value store (via shared_preferences) for preferences.

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Legiano or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.

3Permissions

Legiano does not request any runtime permissions (no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library, or notifications access). It only uses the standard local-storage sandbox every Android and iOS app gets by default.

4Network use

Legiano does not make any network requests. The app is fully offline: it does not contact our servers, third-party servers, ad networks, or analytics endpoints. You can use it in airplane mode without any reduction in functionality.

5Third-party services

Legiano does not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or attribution SDKs. There is no Firebase, Google Analytics, AdMob, Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar SDK in the app. The only third-party component that touches user-visible data is the operating system's native share sheet (via share_plus), which is invoked only when you explicitly tap Share to send a single entry to another app of your choice (for example, a notes app or a message to your therapist). Nothing is shared automatically.

6Children's privacy

Legiano does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (COPPA) or 16 (GDPR-K). Because no information ever leaves the device, the app is safe to use at any age, but the topic of mood journaling is intended for self-aware users who can choose to use it.

7Your rights

Because Legiano stores everything locally and never transmits it, you are always in full control of your data. You can delete a single entry from within the app at any time. To delete everything, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device's system settings — this is immediate and irreversible. There is no copy of your data anywhere else for us to retrieve, export, or hand over.

8Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
